Refund policy

Refund Eligibility

We accept refund requests for products purchased from CanineCariño within 30 days of delivery, provided the items meet the following conditions:

  • Product is unused, unopened, and in original packaging with all tags attached
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is provided
  • Defective or damaged items must be reported within 7 days of delivery

Note: Certain items including perishable goods (like aquarium plants), personalized products, and hygiene-related items (masks, grooming tools) are non-refundable unless defective.

Refund Process

  1. Submit your refund request through our online form (link in your order confirmation email)
  2. Wait for our team to review your request (typically within 3 business days)
  3. If approved, you'll receive return instructions
  4. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we'll process your refund

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days after we receive your return.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product). We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we cannot be responsible for lost returns.

For international returns: Any customs fees, taxes, or duties are non-refundable.

Exchanges

We currently offer refunds only. If you need a replacement item, please place a new order after receiving your refund.

Non-Refundable Situations

We cannot accept returns or issue refunds for:

  • Items damaged due to misuse or improper care
  • Products purchased from third-party sellers
  • Opened grooming products or masks
  • Aquarium livestock or live plants
  • Final sale items (clearly marked as such)

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage/defect. We may require you to return the item or provide additional documentation before issuing a refund or replacement.
